In an illustrious playing career Bryan has been with many of the top bands in the region and with other not so famous when they were at their peak. His experience is put to good use as he not only plays with the senior band but is also the solo Euphonium with the Vets band and the hugely successful conductor of the Youth Band. Bryan’s real passion is giving the young people the opportunity to enjoy their music making as much as he does.

An electrician by day Bryan has spent many years helping young players develop not only in the brass band world but also as a coach of junior rugby league.

Whitworth Band are proud to have such a player in our ranks and are delighted that Bryan is passing on his enthusiasm to the next generation of bandsmen and women.
