Community overcomes design

If you travel in some parts of the USA, you will find make-your-own belgian waffles in the continental breakfast rooms of motels. Interestingly, the instructions for making them didn't seem to work, but nobody seemed to notice. This is a tale of community riding to the rescue of inadequate design.
