In the daytime, we are predominantly a coffee shop but we have also built up a reputation for high-quality breakfasts and lunches. Everything is made to order from fresh ingredients (organic where possible). Have a look at these sample menus to get an idea of the sort of food we serve during the day.

    In addition to these meals we have a constantly changing specials board and offer a range of sandwiches, baguettes and jacket potatoes.

BREAKFAST

LUNCH

Bagel breakfast 7.25
A toasted bagel served with two rashers of organic local bacon and
topped off with two free-range eggs – poached, scrambled or fried.
We also do a vegetarian option.

Welsh rarebit 5.50
Our own secret recipe, including organic vintage mature Cheddar. Served
on a slice of hand-cut granary or white bread with salad.

Buck rarebit 6.15
The same secret recipe used for Welsh rarebit but with a poached egg on top.

Cheddar Eggs 7.25
A toasted cheese scone served with two poached eggs and grated organic cheddar on top, plus a side of organic local bacon.

Home-made soup of the day
Served with an organic baguette.

Omelettes
Made with three free-range eggs and served with salad.
