Students researched the biographies of assigned composers on the internet and then used the information to write a rap song.  The students then performed their songs for the class utilizing accompaniments from garage band.  This a sample of a groups work titled “Ballin’ Bach.”  This project is aligned with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and the National Standards for the Arts 1, 4, 5, 6, 7.
