Rugged Outback Ranier Waterproof Boots

In recent years, I’ve been wearing the New Balance 767 running shoes for everyday use -- for walking, running, office use, bicycle riding, and outdoor work. This has resulted in the shoes getting worn out and dirty, making it necessary to replace them on a more frequent basis. So, I’ve been looking for some quality waterproof work boots.

I wanted some boots made with synthetic materials rather than leather. At Payless Shoesource I found the Rugged Outback Ranier Waterproof Boots (model 57912) for about $35. The shoes have a comfortable fit and come in size 13.

The Payless website offers the following description of these boots: “New from Rugged Outback, the Ranier features a waterproof upper that beads water to keep your feet dry in inclement weather. The tall shaft supports your ankle, and the 1” sawtooth outsole is tough and durable. The insole is padded to absorb shock and alleviate pressure on your feet and legs, and it breathes to keep you dry and comfortable. Put simply, this is the perfect work boot. Manmade materials.”

* I want to thank my style, fashion, and clothing consultant (my girlfriend) for her invaluable assistance in helping me find great clothes and shoes at an exceptional value.
