The Heart Songs selections for December are now available. These are songs that have been recently added to the library collection and include music from some older artists such as George Harrison and Cyndi Lauper. The title song, Always, by Moya Brennan is about a love that will last always. The second song, The Mummers' Dance by Loreena McKennitt, has a blend of Celtic and middle eastern sounds. Two songs from Aly & AJ are included: Silence and I’m Here. Both songs have interesting effects applied to the vocals. This month’s selections conclude with five different versions of the song “Jesus, Lover of My Soul.”
