Growing up I always have had a strong passion for the game of softball. As each year goes on I find I love the game even more as the competition gets better. I have just started my 5th year with the San Diego Breakers competitive softball team and am currently playing on the U18 Gold team.
I have thought about playing softball in college for many years and it has developed into not only a goal, but also a dream for me. I find the harder the sport and the competition gets the more I push myself in the games and practices in order to become the best I can.
Softball has also taught me lessons in which contribute to my education such as discipline, responsibility and time management. I plan to go to college and study business. I also want to continue playing softball after college and be able to coach younger girls and hopefully be an inspiration to them.
It would be a great experience and a dream of mine to play softball in college. Thank you and I hope you consider me as a future student-athlete to your school.
