All apologies for the web site being down for a few days, due the design of my own site has involved learning new programs and such. We've just wrapped up recording a 6 song EP with the band Pre Dawn Hour from Quincy, IL. The band has toured extensively over the past 4 years and they have performed with bands like Dry Kill Logic, American Headcharge, Hed PE, Veruca Salt, Lit, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. They have a recording and production deal with Exit Records, based out of St. Louis, MO. The recordings took place on February 19th and 20th, and both days were in excess of 10 hours sessions! Renew Audio is the conceptual company of music producer, deejay, audio engineer, composer and amateur bonsai gardener, Alex Jones. Ever since a very young age Alex was intrigued by his parent’s record collections. His interest grew as a young man, and led him to start deejaying at the age of 16. He progressed into engineering, production, promotion, and music business.

In 2003 Renew Audio was formed by Alex with a goal of integrating the music industry into a more sustainable and cutting edge operation. His long term goal became to build a fully functional recording and production studio that is powered by clean, renewable energy.

Renew Audio is moving forward into 2008 with plans to purchase renewable energy credits to offset any energy used by the studio. Every day we can make a difference by having awareness, insight and action about the issues of our world and Renew Audio is committed to a superior level of excellence in audio and music services, as well as a dedication to preserving our precious Earth for the future.
