NightShift 1.5

 

NightShift automatically downloads and updates WebKit, the Safari HTML rendering engine, to the latest nightly version. No user intervention is required, everything is fully automated.


  1. BulletDownloads WebKit nightly build from web server

  2. BulletMounts the disk image

  3. BulletCreates a backup of the previous version on disk

  4. BulletCopies the new nightly build to its default location

  5. BulletOption to copy the JavaScript debugger Drosera to disk

  6. BulletOption to launch the new version of WebKit

  7. BulletOption to undo latest install and revert to last version
