An Aperture export plug-in that allows you to add borders, titles and copyrights to images when you export them.
1. Borders
The borders now have even more options to enhance the look of your photos.
- Adjust the top and bottom border independently from the sides.
- Add a drop shadow around the framed image.
- Choose any colour for the border, applied either around the outside or as a tint within and around the edge.
- Blur or desaturate the edge of the image, and optionally tint.
- The option of a soft edge, allowing the border to blend into the photo.
The Twin Stroke option can applied either as two bound strokes drawn at specified distances apart from both each other and the photo, or as separate strokes at specified distances apart from both the edge and the photo.
2. Image Options
New options to adjust the image before framing it.
- Automatic image scaling now allows manual adjustment, to crop part of the image.
- Flip the image horizontally or vertically.
- Add a drop shadow around the image.
3. Titles, Copyright & Metadata
Add captions to your photos, customize the font and placement attributes. IPTC fields can be used to quickly add titles to the exported photo. A text based copyright notice can be automatically added, as well as the exposure details from the EXIF metadata.
4. Presets
Border settings can be saved as a preset, so they can be quickly applied to another photo. A Preset can be selected to be used as the default settings on start up. A Preset can now be updated, just apply the Preset, make the adjustments you want, then save it.
5. Watermark
Add an image as a watermark to the export images. The watermark image can be scaled to fit the desired output size and it's opacity adjusted to blend the watermark with the photo. Any PSD, PNG, or TIFF file can be used as a watermark, images with a transparent background usually work best.
6. Output
Export images as JPEG, and now PNG or TIFF files are also supported. Include the EXIF and IPTC metadata, including keywords, in the exported files. BorderFX has convenient output presets for exporting photos which you can fully customize. You can specify the output dimension in either Pixels, Inches or Millimeters, and now includes the dots per inch (dpi) to use for the exported file. The 'Fit Within' option can be used to specify a maximum dimension the image is to fit within while maintaining the original aspect ratio.
