The Art of Sue Moss Sullivan
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
The mere process of weaving has intrigued me for over 30 years. Although tedious, its rhythm has held my interest and sparked my desire to create new forms in fiber and metal, whether two-dimensional, sculptural, or functional. I often use papers, stitching, embellishing, adding, subtracting, but the underlying technique of tapestry and the passion for the history of textiles is the basis of all my work.
