The latest Valinch is now installed in the shop for visitors to the distillery.

It's a fourteen year old Bruichladdich, American oak matured, that has been ACE'd by Jim  in French oak for that extra waft of toasty complexity.

The casks had originally been used for Quarts de Chaume, an esoteric sweet white wine from the Loire Valley, which imparts a sensual hint of mellow yellowness.

The Valinch is entitled:  "Some Utter Fake"
