Luxury Malts

Askmen.com – a US Men’s web portal (nothing to do with cyber-sex surely?) lists the Bruichladdich 40 along with Macallan 1939, Glengarioch 1958, Glenfiddich 40 and Middleton Very Rare ( though not a single malt) in an article on luxury whiskies which they claim is the most the most expensive Islay whisky in the US  - if you can find it, that is.

“…this is one of the more complex bottles that you’re likely to find, and it’s packed with nuanced flavours…Not surprisingly, Bruichladdich’s 40 Year Old is smooth beyond belief…”

Hear, hear.

Incidentally, Graeme serves it by the glass at the Port Charlotte Hotel.
