Science vs. Religion?
Topics in this area include discussion of perceived conflicts between science and religion. One of the major theses of these articles is that any such conflict is largely perceived. With a careful understanding of the teachings of the LDS (Mormon) Church and of science itself, the conflicts generally disappear.

The article Abraham’s Vision of Creation is an article I prepared after having studied extensively the creation stories found in Genesis, Moses, and Abraham in an attempt to see if the scriptural accounts can be reconciled with science’s teachings. Or, alternatively, should we approach the scriptural accounts as explanatory and mythical, intended to teach us man’s relationship to God rather than to convey any information about actual events. Much to my surprise, I found that while the explanatory and mythical aspects of the accounts are, of course, paramount, they can also be viewed as broad descriptions of actual events.

The remaining articles are works in progress and will eventually present the science/religion worldview that I have adopted.
