You won’t want to miss the Memphis Film Festival, to be held June 5-7, 2008, at the Whispering Woods Hotel and Convention Center, in Olive Branch, MS (right next door to Memphis).  Noel Neill and Larry Ward will be on hand for this event.  This event celebrates 70 years of Superman (Action Comics #1 featuring the first appearance of the Man of Steel was issued in June 1938) and 75 years of the Lone Ranger (who made his radio debut on station WYXZ in Detroit on January 30, 1933).  In addition to continuous and concurrent screenings of movies and old TV shows in 4 viewing rooms from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm each day, there will also be memorabilia, collectibles, the Panel of Stars, and other forms of entertainment.  There will even be some radio/TV drama re-enactments -- and Noel Neill will read a part!  Gosh, I wonder which character she’ll be?...
