R. Chris Borders, MAI, CCIM is the founder of RC Borders & Co., a full service regional valuation and consulting firm with headquarters in Edmond, Oklahoma. Since its inception in 2002, RC Borders & Co. has appraised real estate assets and machinery valued at almost $1 billion. Mr. Borders has been involved in real estate valuation and consulting since 1986.

RC Borders & Co. primarily offers a full array of valuation services, including commercial real estate appraisals (varying in scope) typically providing market value estimates in Restricted, Summary and Self-Contained Reports, all FIRREA and USPAP compliant. Additional services of RC Borders & Co. include consulting, litigation support services, appraisal/compliance reviews and expert litigation testimony. Mr. Borders is a qualified expert witness in both Oklahoma County and Cleveland County District Courts.
RC Borders & Co. performs appraisals on all property types, including but not limited to office, industrial, retail (including self-storage), vacant land (including subdivisions) multi-family and special purpose facilities (including religious facilities). Appraisals are performed for loan underwriting, condemnation, estates, equity participation and due diligence support. In addition to real estate appraisals, RC Borders & Co. has valued FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), ranging from convenience stores to larger industrial manufacturing facilities.
RC Borders & Co. utilizes state-of-the-art software tools, including Argus discounted cash flow analysis. RC Borders & Co. has the capability to deliver complete, signed reports in Adobe format via email or ftp internet download.
Territory
RC Borders & Co. has a primary territory of the entire State of Oklahoma, including the Oklahoma City and Tulsa metropolitan areas. However, regional assignments are accepted, including but not limited to Texas, Kansas and Arkansas. Please contact us regarding your specific requirements.
Affiliations
Mr. Borders holds the MAI designation (Commercial) and SRA (Residential) from the Appraisal Institute. He is currently certified under their continuing education program. Mr. Borders also holds the CCIM designation (Commercial Brokerage) from the CCIM Institute. Mr. Borders is an affiliate member of the National Association of Realtors.
Mr. Borders is an Oklahoma General Real Estate Appraiser from the Oklahoma Real Estate Appraisal Board. He is currently certified under their continuing education program.
