An RSS feed is a service that many websites offer. (RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.) A web site’s RSS feed provides excerpts of the information on the site. If you subscribe to a web site’s RSS feed, you can quickly scan the excerpts and click the ones you want to read. If you subscribe to multiple RSS feeds, you can view all the feeds from the various sites in one window. An RSS reader indicates when sites you subscribe to post new content. To subscribe to an RSS feed, you need an RSS reader, such as Safari. In Safari, to read the RSS feed, you click the RSS button in the Safari address field.
