FUMC St. Petersburg, and friends from around the state, volunteered for one week with Bahamas Habitat on the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas to help those in need of a better housing situation. Mr. Cash, above, had lived in his 300 sq. ft. home for all of his 87 years with no running water until volunteers helped him earlier this year in the Spring of 2009.
