The Cathedral Church of Saint Mary, Blackburn
The Cathedral Church of Saint Mary, Blackburn
For service ringing the best places to park are: Darwen Street (pay and display but free on Sundays) just down from the Market Street Lane junction; Saint Peter Street or Mill Lane (both pay and display). On Sundays it may be possible to park in the Cathedral precinct, there are two entrances which are both off Darwen Street. The first is to turn left into the Cathedral Close. The second is to turn into Dandy Lane immediately before “The Postal Order” and head up the ramp to the car park. For major events the parking in the precinct is often controlled by tickets.
