The glorious start to the year continues with domination in the 750 motor club but also there is some exciting news from the sprint boys.
Starting with the 750 Motor club. In the Kit car series Gary Goodyear in his Fulcrum is continuing to demolish the lap record at every track he goes to.  He has now set a new record at Brands breaking into the 52 seconds, Cadwell into the 1 min 36 seconds, Mallory into the 49 seconds and Snetterton into the 1 min 16s. He has won each race and set the fastest lap also. He now holds the track records at all the tracks he goes to so he needs a bit of competition!!!
Steve Ward in the Striker TR is also continuing to win Class A frequently beating the V8 with his Duratec powered Striker.
Tim Grey in the Fireblade Striker beat all the Hayabusa powered class A cars at qualifying and poled at the top spot. Some of them powered past him on the straights but finished an overall second and third with massive class wins. With two other Strikers chasing him it is becoming the car to beat in the RGB series aswell
The sprint boys are getting going now. Mark Dempster in his Toyota powered Striker has done some upgrades and launched himself into the British championship this year. Had a great time last weekend at Barbot Hall and Harewood House winning his class outright, beating those expensive Caterhams and getting a mention in Autosport.
With Gary’s success being reported in Autosport the public is starting to hear about our cars on a regular basis now. John Bradshaw in his Toyota powered Striker in the HSA has unfortunately had a prang. He did a bit of a grass detour but unfortunately hit a tree stump and bent is car a bit. Not too bad and he will soon be back. He won every race last year so we need him back.
I know there are many more Strikers out there winning. Please let me know.

Gary Goodyear in his 190 bhp Toyota powered Fulcrum is storming away in the 750 Motor club series. He has now notched up another double header victory at Mallory park this weekend and also he has lopped a massive one second off the lap record!!!!!.Steve Ward was not far behind with a third and a second place so it was a one two for raw at Mallory
The Striker challenge car was also out there performing very reliably coming in 9th on a grid of 17. As we have full control of the spec we may just give this car a further 10 bhp as it suffered a little in lack of power compared with the other classes. We need to maintain reliability and keep costs at bay but we could still do this. We are hoping for a good take up on this car as it is great value for money for those wishing to enter in to racing for the first time.

Raw has had a great weekend racing with 750 motor club double header at Snetterton.
Gary Goodyear in the Fulcrum came an easy first in both races coming home way ahead of the second person in each race. He qualified 1.7 seconds ahead of the second person in one minute 17 secs which is significantly faster. This result has lit up Kit / Track chat rooms. People are a buzz about Garys new Fulcrum.
Packed with some of the latest upgrades from Raw. The fulcrum It looks lower and sharper. The car is also showing off a brand new lower bonnet. This and other mods were made after the aerodynamic testing in the wind tunnel. Overall this has cut over half a second off the time taken to go down the long straight at Snetterton.
The Striker driven by Steven Ward finish third in the Kit car series along side Gary in the fulcrum.
We also had a young racer called Daniel Ferguson who drove the Striker Challenge car for the first time putting in a very respectable time of 1 min 20 secs and coming 6th. This is excellent news for those thinking of joining the Striker Challenge. The Striker Challenge car proved to be both very reliable and easy to drive performance race car.
In the RGB series Tim Grey had a first in class with Richard Wise just behind him . Both were in class c Fireblade Strikers. Tim beat all the more powerful class b cars and all but 2 of the even more powerful class a cars with Hayabusa's amd ZX12's
Raw was proud to have had wins all round. A tremendous start to the 750 motor club racing. The Striker and the Fulcrum are now starting to dominate both series and are quickly becoming the car to have if you wish to be competitive

2008 Race Results
Raw has continued to grow as a dominant force in the 750 Motor club kit car series. Gary Goodyear won an emphatic class win in the new Fulcrum establishing lap records at almost all the tracks this year. Finished at Snetterton a full half second faster than the next competitor establishing the Fulcrum as a car that has great aerodynamic capabilities.
Tim Grey also came a close second in class C of the 750 Motor club RGB series with his outing in the Fulcrum.
The Strikers continued to perform well in this series and the numbers will be increased next year especially with the new Striker Challenge single make series starting.
We have a new Striker champion in a fast growing Northern Ireland race series. Mark Crawford became the 500 road sports class c champion this year in a blade powered Striker. His first year of competition. What a result! Congrats Mark
The single make series in the Republic of Ireland is still producing healthy grids despite the credit crunch and is now attracting Portuguese arrive and drive competitors who are incidentally giving the nationals a bit of a run for their money!!!!
Sprint and Hill climb results starting to come in now. Many excited competitors with good results. Example John Bradshaw, Mark Dempster and Jim and David Spencer and David  Hussey to name but a few performing well against much more expansive and more powerful cars. Final results will be issued later. There are many other Striker enthusiasts who have great weekends out performing much more experienced rivals.
In UK Auto testing, Raw has started to reap success with the new Strikers in their first year of competition. With a national 1st and 2nd in class E and a 2nd, 3rd,5th, 6th, 7th,11th and 12th in class F. this included two father and son teams  of Steven and Ben Morton and Ian and Chris  Chapman. Films of these competitors are on u tube showing the depth of their capabilities and why they regularly compete in the UK teams.
The new Dutch race series is going well and frequently won outright by a Striker prepared by our Dutch agent Speedon.

Finally Raw would like to congratulate all Striker and Fulcrum competitors, it has been an impressive season so far!
