RETURN TO THE 29th ANNUAL PLAYBOY JAZZ FESTIVAL

Freddie Ravel’s 8 Peace Band headlined the 29th annual Playboy Jazz Festival. The band’s 3rd triumphant return was widely covered by local media and featured an all star cast from Tootie Heath to Poncho Sanchez.

Freddie performed and read to hundreds of L.A. elementary schoolchildren with Celebrity voice actors from Jimmy Neutron/ Boy Genius and Rotary members from around the world. The event was broadcasted on Telemundo while 20,000 Rotary members from over 140 countries attended at the Los Angeles Convention Center. 250,000 books went to deserving schoolchildren throughout the region.
