After a high volume of submissions from many area studios, six tap dances from Perinton Dance Company have been selected to be showcased at the at the Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival, March 31-April 1, 2007. The festival includes workshops and performances by some of the all time tap greats as well as local performers. The Perinton Dance Company dances selected are: “Bellhop Boogie” featuring Hallie Caifano; Stephanie Carroll; Katherine Jerabeck; Andee Neuscheler; Caroline Petishnok; Emily Radler; Rebecca Stumbo; and Renee Weinstein, “This Old House” featuring Kayla Bailey; Meagan Branch; Katie Fernandez; Ally Hoevenaar; Alexandria Lima; Megan Noonan; Rachel Olosky; and Katie Sortino, “Throughly Modern Millie” featuring Caroline Petishnok, “If My Friends Could See Me Now” featuring Katie Saxman, who won a full scholarship, and an Acapella dance performed by Caity Ferrari and Riley Hall.
All six dances are the original choreography of Ramona Reuter. Ramona is a senior level dance instructor at Perinton Dance Company.
