I started the first installation of Tadelakt in Burgoo located in Vancouver this week. I have applied a variety of plasters over the past few years and Tadelakt is one of the finest I have worked with, it is sweet! Or perhaps smooth is the better description, like butter. Love it thus far.

The owners loved the sample I prepared and are very excited to see the end result.  I have taken a sleek plaster and distressed it to resemble the appearance of  a weathered European wall. The end colour is quite light despite the dark base coat applied today.

Tomorrow I start the closing applications... more pictures to follow.
