Kosovars enjoying a Christmas drama. Kosovo is the land of inexpensive smokes and I swear two thirds of her people smok’m. There’s a joke going around that if you tell your spouse that you are going to meet with some friends at a coffee bar and you don’t come home smelling like smoke they wonder if you are being faithful.
Speaking of being faithful...over 300 Kosovars showed up on a cold Christmas eve to see and hear the story of Jesus. Though story, song, and drama they heard and saw why He came to earth that evening so long ago, in the form of a little baby, in a cold, dreary stable, to a lowly young Jewish girl and her gallant husband who were swept into the pages of history by God Himself. Many of them heard and saw the Gospel for the first time. For that we praised God and put up with a “little” smoke. After all, God isn’t afraid to meet us where we are at, and I am so grateful that we aren’t above passing that courtesy on to others.
