Things to learn
I have lots to learn, and I have found it best to think of this next year as a time when I am a student. Here are a few things I’ve learned in this first week of living in Kosovo.
-”When” to shower is not about time. It is about availability. shower when there is water.
-parking on the sidewalk is fine
-you can drop in on a kosovar home after 9 pm and its no problem.
-weddings are a BIG deal-a week of celebrations
-you can get a good steak at the Planetaria restaurant
-Jet Lag makes me wake up at 1 am to walk around the house until I can go back to sleep.
