The Edge of Reason Science and Religion in Modern Society
Does it matter what people believe, and if so, what should they believe? The Edge of Reason explores the complex issues of cultural evolution, science and religious belief in society. A diverse, international group of scholars - ranging from atheist to agnostic to devoutly religious - travels through the rich variety of cultural belief systems in anthropology, the prehistoric religions of archaeology, religion’s effects on human minds in neuroscience and biology, and the nature and origin of our world in views of cosmology, theology and philosophy.
