rafaelriera.net was founded in 2001 by Rafael Riera, mainly to pass the time as he waited for his college Sociology degree to pay off somehow. Months later, when he moved to Los Angeles, the website became a way to stay in touch with family and friends in Puerto Rico. Now, the website is the place for dozens of his fans to find out what’s going on with his film career, and his other passions: entertainment, sports, and the latest going-ons in the life of people around him.
In 2002, the website’s goal was to entertain the people Rafael Riera knew, and make their workdays a little more enjoyable. Five years later, the goal is still the same, entertain the people Rafael Riera knows and the people who know of him, and make their days a little more enjoyable, as well as letting them know that the next Rafael Riera movie will have a less-suggestive title, and will get better reviews.
