Best.  Summer.  Ever. 

Starting June 2, Tara offered six, two-week summer sessions: full-time, full days, full fun. 5 days per week, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.  $465 per session, and that includes all fees for supplies, activities, events, and healthy snacks. Enrollment due 30 days prior to camp start.  Each session is limited to 30 children.  Ages 5-11, regardless of grade.

June 2 to June 13:  Model Rockets.  Photo page to come soon.  A Blast!  Build, paint, and  launch a model rocket. Learn about the math and science of rocketry, build a bunker.  FFFFffffft, BANG!!

June 16 to June 27:    Art, Art, and More Art.  Create beauty!  Painting, drawing, beading, sculpting, clay, collage- all from a stocked art room where creativity flows!

June 30 to July 11: Outdoor Explore.  Survival skills, map and compass. Go on a hike and make a sundial. Shelter building (Forts!). Identifying poisonous plants and edible bugs (aw man, that’s gross!).

July 14 to July 25:  Young Chefs.  Or, eating our way through several cultures.   A beautiful and delicious way to learn about the wonderful cultures of New Mexico.

July 28-August 8:  Wizards, Inc. Make wands, robes, potions, brooms, quill pens and all colors of snitches.  Dress up, play Muggle Quiddich, Sorcerer’s Stone scavenger hunt, and visit the half-giant’s hut.

August 11-August 22:  Time Travel.  Roles to play and history to make.  Vaqueros, Cowgirls, Wagon Trains, Pioneers, bows and arrows, campfire cooking and weaving.
