Until recently, Paul has been working primarily as a professional actor since graduating from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1999, excepting one year pursuing an unfinished masters in acting at the now-semi-defunct Actors Studio Drama School at New School University in New York.

From late 2001 (not including a few gigs with a few other companies) to December 2006 Paul was performing with the American Shakespeare Center (formerly Shenandoah Shakespeare) in Staunton, Virginia, both as a member of their touring and resident troupes at the Blackfriars Playhouse, to which he fully intends to return when time allows.

Paul now holds a (completed) masters degree in political management from George Washington University in Washington, DC. He has interned at ABC News’ Political Unit, served as the communications director of FairVote - The Center for Voting and Democracy, and worked on media research for Hillary Clinton for President. Paul now does occasional theatre education work, and as always eagerly awaits his next adventure. He is happily married to the lovely and talented Jessica Dunton.

Paul is also a songwriter and musician. In 2004, he released his debut album, Paul is Making Me Nervous. You can get it at iTunes, CD Baby, and other places. He’s “working” on a second album, but he doesn’t expect it will be finished for a few months now. Selections that may or may not appear on said second album can be heard and purchased for next to nothing at Amie Street.

Please browse the site for free music by Paul, news on his projects and whereabouts, and his thoughts on politics, theatre, music, and updates on his own work. One way or the other, there’s no reason to leave this site empty-headed.

Paul blogs on atheists’ precarious place in American politics and culture at Bloc Raisonneur, as well as at Examiner.com, where he is the DC Secularism Examiner. His remaining thoughts find themselves spilled out at his other blog, Near Earth Object.
