Roosevelt Road, from Austin to Harlem, is the border between Oak Park, Berwyn, Cicero, Forest Park and Chicago. Currently experiencing new residential and commercial development, a newfound cohesion within the business community lead by the Roosevelt Road Business Assoc. with invaluable help from the Berwyn and Oak Park Development Corporations has contributed to a Renaissance on Roosevelt. With the resurgence of the Roosevelt Road corridor from Austin to Harlem, the time is ripe for a celebration, a new tradition promoting the municipalities and businesses that inhabit this historic highway and give it it’s unique and vibrant quality. There is a saying that goes: ‘If you can’t find it on Roosevelt Road, than you don’t need it.’ Come and see what will make The Roosevelt Road Summer Spectacular Street Fair a party not to be missed, with everything from musical acts hand-picked by the legendary FitzGerald’s, family entertainment featuring the best of Chicago as well as from the thriving local theater scene and high school musical talent, a plethora of green artisans and sustainable energy and ideas, and food from all along the Road, from Berwyn restaurants Wishbone and DiNico’s Pizza, Forest Park’s Smokin’ M’s BBQ to Ino’s Burritos of Oak Park, as well as the renowned Gina’s Italian Ice, you’ll savor the many flavors of this fantastic festival!
