One thing as a team we have learned from farming Hundred Acre’s three different vineyards and working with the fruit both in Napa Valley and in the Barossa Valley is that no detail in winemaking or farming is too small. Everything counts and you bloody better believe it’s true...

I have been all over the wine world time and again and then again. Tasted thousands of different wines and there are only a few places that haunt me, always come back to mind, occupy my dreams and have me back again to taste some more.

Layer Cake is my personal quest to open the door to these places, to seek out great sources of fruit, to work with a great farmer, a piece of land and craft something magical. I hope you enjoy the journey half as much as I do...
