Mochi & Olive were recruited to be on a popular prime time Japanese variety t.v. show!  The t.v. show is called “Ranking Paradise”. It is a weekly show that features any kind of top 10 things people may be interested in. This episode  features the top  most popular  dogs in  L.A. & how their owners spoil them. When they saw photos of the girls in their geisha outfits, they went crazy & they had to film them wearing the outfits. The producers of the t.v. show met with Mochi & Olive, (Woody & I tagged along) at Park Bench Cafe in Huntington Beach.  So here we are sitting at the cafe, in the heat of summer, with 2 pugs wearing geisha outfits! Crazy looking? You bet! At least the film crew was there as our excuse. They spent about an hour & a half filming all of us. They wanted us to be eating casually & they just “happen upon us”. Yeah, we always dress our pugs up like geishas while we go out to breakfast! Ha! Ha! Thankfully this will only be seen in Japan! It was fun &  the girls were a big hit with the t.v. crew & the the bystanders. A group of little soccer girls were so enamored of the girls, they got in on the t.v. footage hugging & petting them. We all got free breakfast & now I am afraid the girls will become divas with all their demands!

    

I guess they liked the girls so much, that they called me early the next morning to get more shots of them walking in the park. It was a fun experience & we look forward to seeing the show when they send us a dvd in October. The t.v. show will air in Japan on September 28th. We have told all our relatives & friends in Japan to be sure to watch it! If we can figure out how to put the footage on youtube, we will!  Here are some photos of the girls & the film crew.
