Wow what an amazing turnout for the Mill Creek Festival event this year!   I want to personally thank everyone for coming out with their dogs.   I hope everyone went home with some happy , and tired, pooches!    The waves were full, the competition was excellent, and getting to hang out with our dockdogs friends was the best.  A GREAT BIG thank you to everyone that volunteered during this event and helped to make it so successful.   Remember that your volunteer vouchers can be used for merchandise or wave fees during our next club event in October.   We also have several t-shirts and current the current issue of DockDogs magazine still available that we will bring to the next couple of national events and our club practices.

The Saturday evening dog swap to benefit Chase Away K9 Cancer was a blast (I personally can't wait to do that again).  We all had a great time playing with someone else's dog on the dock AND raised over $300 to boot!!!   All said and done, everyone helped to raise over $1700 for Chase Away K9 Cancer!

Be sure to check out our website for information about upcoming events in the region and summertime practice date changes.  You can also log on to www.dockdogs.com and commiserate with other competitors throughout the country for training tips, info about upcoming events, event results, team rankings, or just keeping in touch with the dock jumping family from all over the world.  It is free to sign up online and it allows you to participate in all of the above as well as later in the year for the people's choice awards for dockdogs (most improved team, most inspiring team, etc).
