28in4 California Ski Marathon
In 2002 the "Across the Atlas" team embarked on a quest to ski all the 28 Colorado Resorts in less than 4 days. Against all odds (and good common sense), they completed the adventure in 3 days, 4 hours and 21 minutes, a Guinness world record that is still standing.
In 2007, the team was approached by the Magazine Good Ski Guide and the TV Network Current TV to attempt a similar record in California ...all 28 California Resorts in less than 4 days.
Preparation began 6 months ago and after extensive search, the team is complete. 8 professional individuals in unique roles that will give their all in an attempt to set the California record! Their skis are waxed, the route is planned and the snow awaits. Can they do it again? Stay tuned.
