Caprices 5

Unlike the previous caprices, these images appear to be from life, but the bearded mustached man is an invention, possibly sparked by seeing a seventeenth century or later work. The detail on the lower right strikes me as from life, a moment’s observation. Newsprint, 18 X 24 in and done in black chalk or charcoal in 1962.
