Welcome. I’m a third-year Ph.D. student in poetry in the New South Writing Workshop at Georgia State, where I also teach English composition. Recently, I completed the prestigious CELTA certification for teaching English as a second or other language. I’m a former CNN writer who grew up in the news business and can’t quite shake my passion for it. As a freelancer, I’ve written software help screens, feature articles, book reviews, reference entries, ad copy, and press releases.
