A Hungarian Mystery?
Hannah Senesh (1921-1244) (Hannah Szenes or Chana Senesh) was a Palestinian Jew (Israel) of Hungarian descent who fought as a partisan against the Nazis. She was captured at the close of the war and assassinated in Budapest by the Nazis.
Hannah was also a great poet:

In 4th grade, Sharon was cast in the role of Hannah Senesh, the Jewish poet, and was parachuted into Hungary to save the Jews from destruction.
After college, Sharon found an apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan that was located in the heart (82nd St) of New York’s Hungarian community and wrote all of her World Famous Poems.

The Return of the 14K Gold Ring with the Green Heart
At age 7, Sharon was asked to be the flower girl at her cousin Laurie’s wedding and was given a gift of a gold ring with a green heart. A week after the wedding, Sharon lost the ring on the beach playing in the sand.
At age 18, Sharon was walking on the beach with her friend Harry McVeety, and saw something in the sand that attracted her attention. She reached for it, and it was a 14K gold ring with a green heart. The gold ring with the green heart was lost on the beach and recovered on the beach.
