Well, after waiting about 29 years, I finally made it to Seattle!!!  Last Thursday, Sarah and I flew out to stay with her friend, Lorelle.  The three of us had the best time together.  We had some delicious seafood, spent a lot of time shopping at Pike’s Place Market, took a cruise of the harbor and went to the Space Needle...and that was all in the first day.  We also took the Seattle Underground Tour, tried some delicious Pho for lunch, and then did some more shopping at Pike’s Place.  We also went to church at Mars Hill Olympia campus, an experience we all enjoyed.  We spent some time on Sunday driving around Olympia (it was a lot smaller than Sarah and I thought it would be).  Sunday afternoon we went to the grocery store and got some yummy foods and just relaxed (watched movies and played cards).  Monday morning at 4:20 we left Lorelle’s house and flew home.  After two very bumpy flights we returned to Birmingham at 4:00 p.m.  Preston picked me up at the airport and took the rest of the day off (which is huge since he is working really hard on a big deadline he has on Friday).  I was so excited to see Logan and he seemed very glad to see Mommy too.  This was definitely a very memorable trip and I am so glad I was able to go.  Thank you Sarah and Lorelle for making it so much fun!!!  Thank you Preston for taking good care of Logan or making sure he was in good hands while I was gone.  Thank you Mom, Dad and Russ for having Logan at your house Thursday pm - Saturday pm while I was gone and for hosting Preston some too.   Thank you CiCi and DiDi for watching Logan on Thursday and Monday so Preston would not have to miss any work!!!  I REALLY APPRECIATE everyone helping out so much so I could have a great time in Seattle!!
