Premise Entertainment’s founder is Dominic Carola.  After spending more than a decade working for Walt Disney Feature Animation, Dominic has overseen productions ranging from theatrical features and television projects, as a Creative Producer and Director for Project Firefly.  He has also served as the Head of Production for the Florida unit on the Universal Pictures theatrical release CURIOUS GEORGE.   Most recently for Premise Entertainment, Dominic has creatively led visual development, pre-production, story, and animation production teams.  Dominic is also a Production Consultant for large projects as well as independent animation producers.

While at Walt Disney Feature Animation, Mr. Carola was a Lead Animator for LILO & STITCH, and animated on such films as BROTHER BEAR and MULAN. His other animation film credits include JOHN HENRY, THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, POCAHONTAS and THE LION KING. Mr. Carola was the Director of Animation for Walt Disney's California Adventure Animation Pavilion, which was recognized for the THEA Award.

Prior to coming to Disney, Dominic worked as a cartoonist for D.C. Comics.  There his interest in animation and filmmaking led him to the California Institute of the Arts, where he became the recipient of the first ever Walter Lantz Animation Award.  Today, Mr. Carola enjoys living in Florida where he and his family like to play.
