The lovely and quaint Neve Tzedek

This evening I saw a modern dance show at the Suzanne Dellal Center in Neve Tzedek, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Israel. The area is beautiful- narrow streets and colorful, old buildings. Some of it actually reminds me a lot of Old Town Alexandria. Neve Tzedek is definitely a place to check out while in Tel Aviv-- it’s full of artsy shops, boutiques, funky cafes, and winebars. The show was interesting---I mean, you can’t really go wrong with twenty good looking people dancing in next to nothing for an hour. At one point there were four male dancers strutting there stuff in patent leather red stilettos across the stage. I was sure one of them would be twisting-or worse- an ankle, but as it turns out, those guys could work it in heals way better than I could. I went with my coworker, Yifat, whose aunt works for the dance company, and had some extra tickets.http://www.suzannedellal.org.il/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neve_Tzedekshapeimage_2_link_0shapeimage_2_link_1
