Welcome to Ski & Board Surrey’s, and Ski & Board Hampton’s new travel site. This site will be a basic “catch up on what we are doing”-kind-of-place.

We will be trying to keep this site as up to date as possible while we are on our tours this international snow season.

The first ( and newly added ) one jets off from Melbourne on the 7th of January 09 to powder plentiful Niseko, Japan. (See Alaska page for the second trip details) and the second will be going over on the 7th of Feb with a few returns from last years trip

20 of us will be heading over, to be in knee-to-waist deep fluffy dry powder! Congratulations to those of you who have chosen to experience japanese powder at its best.

Landing in Sapporo, Hokkaido we will be whisked away by bus to the majestic and powder filled Niseko. Once we are checked into cosy Pension Kisara with our friendly family led by Yoshi, its time to hit the snow! (Night skiing on til 9pm if you’re up for it)

With 4 resorts on one mountain there is no lacking of terrain to try. Whether you want wide open runs, or nice tight trees, its all here. Go Go Go!

Stop for a hearty lunch mid mountain to refuel, or head back down to town to catch a quick nap, remember there always a night ski/ride. Thats right, ‘Knight Riders’ till 9:00pm every night! And not just one run on-piste like most mountains -All under nice bright lights!

At night you are up to your own events. Whether you want to continue to ride (which is where you will usually find me). Or, you want to hit the town for dinner (we can suggest a few). And then maybe catch a few drinks in one of the many little restaurants or bars.

Then, after passing out from exhaustion, you will wake up to a nice healthy breakfast provided by our hosts. Departing at 8am, Yoshi and our private Kisara bus will take us up to the lifts if you’re ready.

And once again we hit the snow...

8 days in Niseko and then off to Rusutsu for a day trip with some more pow in a different spot. Can’t wait!
