Find the meaning of a word:

If you are using Safari, highlight any word on the web page. Click on the highlighted word while holding the control key. Click on Look up in dictionary.

Use the dictionary widget. (Click F12 to bring up the widgets.)

Download an image:

Hold the control key while clicking on the picture.

Choose either Save image to the desktop or Add image to iPhoto library.

Be sure you are downloading the full size image and not the thumbnail.
