THIRTEEN.FIVE

The adventures continue.

I’ve entered into a commercial spot with Cervelo.

I actually had an idea for a short film the day after the shop I work with received their first R3 SL.  I couldn’t wait to open the box, I got it out, stripped off the plastic and Greg Thomas pulled it apart, weighed every thing and built up a superbly light, kick-arsed bike that you can ride hard every day.  He worked late into the evening that night.

Greg likes to build kick-arsed, supremely light bikes.

Anyway, the idea to make THIRTEEN.FIVE was born out of that experience.

I’ve begun working with a Director of Photography named Charlie Gruet.  He is the man.  Together we make a great team.

The competition was a catalyst to get us rolling with the shooting, and despite being stranded in New Orleans the day we were supposed to shoot the spot, we got it done in time to submit after months of discussions, a whole set of test shots and then the final shoot were we stayed at Contes in Arlington, VA until 3 AM.

Its in the top ten now at www.Cervelo.com
