Documentaries with Heart
Métier Productions, based in Seattle, Washington, has been developing documentaries since 2005 on educational, charitable, and social justice organizations and their missions. Our subjects include human rights, third-world poverty, the environment, and public education.
In our productions we address questions like these:
• How can activists work for peace by working for justice?
• What difference can one individual make in lessening the misery of poverty?
• How can teachers help students understand global issues and the inter-connection of environment, population, consumption, poverty, and our future?
• What kind of leadership is needed to meet the challenges of improving our schools?
Métier Productions is a project of ProForum, a non-profit 501(c)3 educational organization that sponsors research and communications on public policy.
Métier Productions develops character-driven documentaries and promotional pieces about charitable and human rights organizations and their missions.
Métier has filmed productions on location in: Zacapa, Guatemala; Havana, Cuba; Beijing and Harbin (Manchuria), People’s Republic of China; Cairo, Egypt; Bethlehem and Ramallah, Palestine; and New York, Seattle, Chicago, Phoenix, and Los Angeles.
