KYLE GRANT 
The Tempest 

Kyle was born and raised in Detroit MI and trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where he received the Paul McCartney Human Spirit Award in 2005.  Since returning to the US, he has devoted his artistic efforts to education, currently working with Theatre Recrudescence on the Arrow Head Outreach Project taking Shakespeare to locked juvenile detention centers.  Kyle is overjoyed to be working with Playlab NYC and would like to thank everyone who supports him each day.

kevin P. Hale
perfectly natural, loss of breath 

Kevin has directed a number of works from Ohio based poet Laura Albrecht including After the Apartment at Wright State University, Blank Spaces at Antioch College, and Skid in Chicago with the Dolphinback Theatre Company.  Other credits include: at WSU Marlowe’s Doctor Faustus, The Dear Departed at the Youngstown Playhouse, Dracula at Actors’ Theatre of Sonoma County, and Running Out of Sand for Faux-Real’s 2nd Annual Short Shorts.

In 2007, he directed Macbeth for Socrates Sculpture Park’s Halloween Harvest Festival.  Kevin also directed the New York premier of Emma & Company (based on the stories by Edna Ferber) at the Wings Theatre, which was noted by critic Victor Gluk in Backstage as one of the best Off-Off-Broadway shows of 2001.
