The beauty of living in Manhattan is that you can discover a couple hundred motorcycle-riding firefighters and their friends on your way home from the bookstore. On Sunday, September 17, Red Rock West hosted an after-party/pig roast for the 5th Annual 9/11 Memorial Motorcycle Classic (honoring Battalion 33 alumni who made the supreme sacrifice). Seeing the odd mix of kilts, leather, and FDNY t-shirts I decided to come back with a mic and see who would talk to me.
