Where the Wild Roses Grow written by Nick Cave and featuring Kylie Minogue, is taken from the album Murder Ballads. It’s a twisted love song telling the story of a man obsessed with the beauty of a young woman called Eliza Day. To preserve the memory of her beauty, he kills her and leaves her body in the river where the wild roses grow, hence the title of the song.
