Clifford the Big Red Dog was at the Tryon Arts Center today. We picked up Jim this morning at nine and headed that way. We were barely to Asheville when Lexie threw up her milk. She hasn’t been car sick in a while, but I am usually more careful to make sure she doesn’t drink right before we get in the car. She begged for her morning milk, so I gave it to her. BIG MISTAKE.
We went back home and changed her clothes and hoped to make it to the 11 am show since we weren’t going to make 10 am.
We got there about 5 minutes late, paid $1 each and went into the theater. We got to go on stage. And only one other little girl showed up. Gaye sang songs until Clifford showed up. Dalton didn’t want to come on stage, but finally did. He laid at the top of the bleachers and pouted for a while. He wouldn’t participate. Jim and Lexie were having fun!
When Clifford showed up, he went to Dalton and brought him down and spun him around. Dalton was hooked. He loved Clifford and Clifford loved him. Lex and Jim gave Clifford lots of hugs!!!
We all had a great time! Next month, Madeline will be there. We can’t wait.
