Dan plays his Playstation Guitar Hero game that the kids got him for Father’s Day.

 

We had a busy day. We left for church at 8 am.

 

Dan and I had nursery duty from 9:45-12:30.  Lexie went to summer Sunday School until 10:45.  Dalton didn’t want to go.  Lexie had never met these people but she happily walked right into the room.  Dalton wouldn’t even go in the room.  Lexie turned around and asked me if we were going to drive away in the car.  I told her we would not drive away, that we would be in the nursery.  She was quite content with my answer and introduced herself to the teacher. And didn’t look back again.

 

I couldn’t quite make the entire time at the nursery.  There was no place comfy to sit and I was STARVING.  I left the fam and went to sonic by myself for a foot long coney.  YUM!  The fam came out to the car when church was over and we barely made it home for the start of Dan’s F1 race in Indy.

 

Later in the afternoon, we had friends come over for dinner!  Dalton and Lex helped me to make an apple pie for dessert.  Here is Lex peeling apples...
