Ethnic New York
A Dining Adventure

It's that time again to get together and sample some cuisine you might not normally venture out for. As many might recall we're sampling Russian this time around.  Now our original intention was to have some hearty grub and drink some vodka in these cold winter months Siberian style, but in case anyone missed it, we had 72 degree weather this weekend. So I guess we'll be having Russian food San Diego style instead.

Uncle Vanya

How does January 23rd or 24th sound? Let me know which day is best for you and we'll pick one.  In the mean time gear yourself up for some blini, vareniki (kind of like pierogi), borscht (yummy beet soup - seriously), pelmeni (meat filled dumplings), beef stroganoff, stuffed cabbage, chicken kiev and of course smoked fish, and pray for some colder weather to enjoy this food with.  Well, maybe not.  Vodka tastes just as good in the summer, right?

Start thinking about February options…ethiopian and indian have been proposed.

Hope everyone is having a great New Year thus far.  See you soon.
